Let customers speak for us

Where the name comes from
Why a Madison Avenue shop is called Jerome
William Peter Stamos came to America from Greece in the early 1900s. He started the shop on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx. That's the Jerome.
In May 1929 the shop moved to Madison Avenue and 96th Street, and the name came along. It's been on that corner ever since, in the hands of three generations of Stamos florists. Today Peter and Constantine run it.
From our door, Museum Mile is a block west on Fifth and Mount Sinai is a short walk north. Our Upper East Side flower delivery starts from that corner and goes out with our own drivers.
From the shop
Where we'd start
Eliana, hot pink roses with blush orchids and white hydrangea in a leaf-lined cube, is our best seller. For someone who'd rather keep a plant on the windowsill, send the Double Orchid, another top seller.

Getting it past the lobby
A few details keep flowers out of the package room.
- Doorman building: add the apartment number and the name the building knows them by.
- Walk-up: the name on the buzzer and the floor.
- Office: company name, floor, and a phone number someone at the front desk answers.
- Hospital: the patient's full name, the room number, the area or wing, and a phone number.
- Hotel: the guest's name exactly as booked and the check-in date. We call the hotel to try to schedule, but they don't always confirm names; we go as far as they let us.
