How ordering works

  1. Delivery or pickup

Send it to their door, or collect it at the shop and skip the fee. You'll choose which before you pay.

  2. Pick the day

We deliver every day, so a Sunday birthday gets Sunday flowers, not Monday apologies.

  3. Add a note

Every order comes with a printed card message at no charge. A line or two is plenty; the flowers will do most of the talking. Want it handwritten instead? Tick the box under the gift message in the cart; it's $10.

  4. If something's off

Refund requests are open for 3 days after delivery or pickup, so tell us while it's fresh: phone the shop or write to jeromeflorists1@gmail.com.

The part you don't see

Who makes your flowers, and who brings them

We make each arrangement ourselves, by hand. Most are made the day they go out. An order for an early pickup may be made the evening before, at closing, so it's ready when you come in.

Our own drivers take them to the door. If a special case calls for a messenger service, we'll only use one if you're comfortable with it, and if anything goes wrong with the delivery, we'll make it right.

Where we deliver, and where we don't

Three boroughs, one shop on Madison and a few zip codes checkout won't take.

  • ManhattanOur home borough. The shop sits in Carnegie Hill, on the Upper East Side.
  • Brooklyn and QueensTwo boroughs, one fee. Same-day is confirmed at checkout, not promised here.
  • Pickup at the shop1379 Madison Ave, on the southeast corner of 96th Street. Pickup hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
  • Not through checkoutCheckout refuses zip codes in the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County and New Jersey. Call the shop about those.

Delivery questions

How much does flower delivery cost?
$15 in Manhattan and $25 in Brooklyn and Queens. Pickup at the shop, 1379 Madison Ave, is free, and so is the printed card message.
Can I get flowers delivered today?
In Manhattan, order by 3 PM ET for same-day delivery. Hospitals and offices are different: order by 1 PM ET, because their front desks can stop taking deliveries in the late afternoon, and give us a phone number for the recipient or the front desk. After 1 PM we'll still try, so call the shop right after you order and we'll check it can go out today. For homes, treat 3 PM as a rule of thumb: after that, an order can still make it out the same day, but call the shop first so we can check. In Brooklyn and Queens, checkout shows whether same-day is available, and if it doesn't offer it, call anyway; we may still be able to send it.
Can I choose a future delivery date?
Yes. Checkout asks for a delivery date, so you can order today for the day that matters: next Saturday, a first day at a new job, the anniversary itself.
What time will the flowers arrive?
We deliver Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 6 PM, give or take about 30 minutes at the start and end of the day. We can't promise a set time. A delivery outside those hours is possible only when we've arranged and confirmed it with you in advance, so call the shop first.
What if the recipient isn't home?
When you order, give us the doorman or front desk details for their building and the recipient's phone number. If no one answers the door, we call the recipient's number, then you, to try to arrange a later delivery. Questions about a particular building? Call the shop.

Not sure about an address?

A two-minute call beats a guess about a hospital unit, a building with a tricky lobby or a zip code on the edge of our map, so call and ask. 212-289-1677
