Sending flowers to New York from out of town
Sending to someone in NYC from out of town? You can order direct from the shop that makes them. Jerome Florists is one shop, on Madison Avenue at 96th Street since 1929. We are a local florist, not a wire service. If something is wrong, tell us within 3 days of delivery, and we'll review it and offer a replacement or a refund if the order didn't meet our quality standards. Questions? Call 212-289-1677.

Ordering from out of town
- Order online and pick the date in the cart. Our same-day collection is the fastest place to start.
- Same-day: order by 3 PM ET in Manhattan on eligible arrangements, or by 1 PM ET for hospitals and offices. These times are guidelines, not promises. All cutoffs are New York time (ET).
- After 3 PM? Call before you order and we'll check. For a hospital or office after 1 PM, order, then call us right away. For same-day in Brooklyn or Queens, call the shop and we'll check.
- We deliver seven days a week, but we can't promise a set delivery time. We're closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. On Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, 2026, we're open until 4 PM. For other holidays, call to check.
- The printed card message is free.
For a patient in the hospital
In the cart, under "Where are the flowers going?", choose Hospital or nursing home and add the patient's full name, the room number, the floor, unit or wing, and a phone number. Then enter the hospital's address at checkout. We call the hospital before every delivery, and we can't deliver until we have a room number and the patient can receive flowers. Some units don't allow flowers or plants, so check with the unit first. If the unit says no, we can hold your order and deliver it to their home once they're discharged. See our hospital flower delivery guide for each hospital's rules.
Sympathy and funerals
For a funeral home, add its address, the service date and time, and the full name of the person who died. If the flowers must be there before the service starts, call us first. For a shiva, ask someone close to the family before you send anything. Many families sitting shiva prefer food or fruit to flowers. See sympathy flowers or the sympathy collection.
Delivery areas and fees
$15 anywhere we deliver in Manhattan. $25 in Brooklyn and Queens, where checkout confirms availability. Checkout won't take delivery zip codes in the Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau County or New Jersey. If the recipient's zip code is refused, call us and we'll do our best to help. Full delivery details.
Rather just ask?
Call 212-289-1677. Peter or Constantine can usually talk you through it, from the card to the room number.
