How same-day flower delivery works in NYC

Forgot the birthday? Just heard about the surgery? It happens. Order by 3 PM Eastern (1 PM for a hospital or an office) and we'll do our best to get flowers to a Manhattan door today. Three o'clock is a guideline, not a promise, so if it's 2:45, stop reading and order.

We're the Stamos family's shop on the southeast corner of 96th and Madison, a block off Museum Mile. Peter and Constantine run it today.

What to do right now

  1. Pick the flowers

Start with the same-day collection. Torn between two? The Floral Advisor's first question is "When do you need it?"

  2. Enter their zip and date

Checkout asks for the recipient's zip code and a delivery date. Choose today if it's offered. If it isn't, call the shop before you pick another day.

  3. Write the card

The printed card message is free. Sign it the way they know you. "Love, Mom" beats a full legal name.

Four easy places to start

These four are among our most-ordered designs, and all four are marked same-day eligible.

Getting it to the right door

In a city of buzzers, doormen and package rooms, same-day flower delivery in NYC goes best with a complete address.

  • Use the recipient's full name, the one the doorman or front desk knows.
  • Add the apartment number. Flowers shouldn't spend the afternoon in a package room.
  • Include their phone number. If nobody's home, we phone them and then you, to try for another time.
  • Hospital? Give the patient's full name, room number and wing, plus a phone number. Some units don't allow flowers or plants, so check first. For same day, order by 1 PM ET.
  • Office? Add the company name, the floor and a phone number someone at the front desk answers. For same day, order by 1 PM ET: front desks can stop taking deliveries in the late afternoon.
  • Bouquets like Erly Riser come with or without a vase. Not sure they own one? Choose "With Vase".

Same-day questions

Can I still order after 3 PM?
Call the shop first. A same-day order can still go out after 3 PM; we just have to check. If today can't be done, choose tomorrow's date at checkout. For a hospital or an office, the guideline is 1 PM ET; after that we'll still try, so call us right after you order.
Can you deliver to Brooklyn or Queens today?
Sometimes. Enter the zip code and today's date at checkout, and it will tell you whether today is open for that address. If today isn't offered, call the shop anyway and we'll check.
Why won't checkout take my zip code?
Checkout only takes zip codes we deliver to. The Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau and New Jersey aren't on the list. If yours is refused, call the shop.
What if something isn't right?
Tell us within 3 days of delivery or pickup, which is our refund window. Call the shop or email jeromeflorists1@gmail.com.

Easier to talk it through?

A standing spray for a service, an address you're not sure of, a card message you can't quite word. Call the shop and tell us who the flowers are for. 212-289-1677
