Whether it's an anniversary, a birthday, a first date, or a Tuesday — love deserves fresh flowers. Our romantic arrangements are designed with intention: rich reds, soft blushes, bold corals, and delicate whites, arranged into something genuinely beautiful.
From sweeping centerpieces to compact hand-tied bouquets, every piece in this collection is made by hand at our shop on Madison Avenue and hand-delivered by our own team in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Order by 3 PM ET for same-day delivery in Manhattan on eligible arrangements.
Romantic flowers for every chapter of a love story
Love doesn't keep to a calendar. There's the anniversary you've celebrated for years, the romance that's just beginning, the apology that could use a little help, and the ordinary weeknight when someone is on your mind. This collection gathers our most romantic flowers for all of those moments, and it's also our Valentine's Day collection, the place to start when February 14 comes around.
Some of these designs speak softly. Sweetheart mixes lilac, tulips and roses in shades of pink, a gentle hello to someone new, and Darling gathers freesia, ranunculus and roses into something tender and fresh. Others speak in red: Red Explorer Roses pairs rich crimson roses with lush greenery, and Scarlet Rose says it the classic way. For a date night at home, Crimson is a compact cube in rich red, with roses, hydrangea and calla lilies, just right for a dinner table. Add a handmade Birdsong soy candle and the evening is set.
Bigger moments call for bigger flowers. For a proposal or a landmark anniversary, Complete Love turns a room red: several arrangements of red roses, a bouquet to put in someone's arms, and petals to scatter. When you owe someone a proper apology, the Mother of All Bouquets is a generous armful of pink, purple and white roses. Whatever you send, let the card carry the words. The printed message is always on us, and for $10 we'll write it out by hand on our card: tick the box under the gift message in the cart.
Every arrangement and bouquet here is made by hand, fresh to order, in our shop on Madison Avenue at 96th Street, the corner Jerome Florists has called home since May 1929. Fresh flowers arrive five days a week from the United States, Holland, Italy and South America. If a flower is out of season or not at its best, we swap in another of matching color and equal or greater value, so the design keeps its style; orchids are the one thing we never substitute. If lilies aren't welcome at home, write "no lilies" in the order note in your cart and we'll leave them out of any design.
Our own drivers deliver seven days a week. Delivery is $15 anywhere we go in Manhattan, $25 to Brooklyn or Queens, and pickup at the shop is free. Order a same-day eligible design by 3 PM and it can reach a Manhattan address that day, just right for a spur-of-the-moment "just because." After 3 PM, or to plan something special, call 212-289-1677 and ask for Peter or Constantine.
Questions we hear a lot
Can I order Valentine's Day flowers ahead of time?
Yes. Just choose your delivery date at checkout, and ordering a few days ahead gives you the widest choice of designs and sizes. If you're cutting it close, call 212-289-1677 to hear what we can still put together for you.
Which flowers suit an anniversary?
Whatever feels most like the two of you. Scarlet Rose's rich red says passion, Coquette's soft palette says tenderness, and Eliana's hot pink roses and blush orchids land happily in between. You'll find more ideas among our anniversary flowers, or let the Floral Advisor help you choose.
Can you help me with flowers for a proposal?
Gladly. Complete Love was made with that question in mind, and for something more intimate, Red Explorer Roses in the large size or the Mother of All Bouquets can be just as memorable. Call 212-289-1677 to talk your plan through with us.
Can I write something personal on the card?
Please do. Type your words in the gift message box and we'll print them on a card at no charge, or tick the box under it and we'll write them out by hand for $10. Notes meant for us, like "no lilies," belong in the order note instead, so they don't end up on the card.
Do you have romantic flowers that aren't all roses?
Plenty. Tulips, lilac, ranunculus, freesia, hydrangea and cymbidium orchids all share the spotlight in this collection, so roses are only part of the story. For long-lasting blooms, a Phalaenopsis orchid plant comes in white, yellow or purple-pink; you'll find it with our orchids and plants.
