Few flowers say it better than roses. At Jerome Florists, we work with premium roses sourced fresh each week — from classic red and romantic blush to bold coral and crisp white — and arrange them into designs that suit every occasion and every budget.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, marking an anniversary, or simply want to make someone's day, our rose arrangements are designed to arrive full, fresh, and beautifully presented. Available in Small, Medium, and Large, hand-delivered by our own team in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Order by 3 PM ET for same-day delivery in Manhattan on eligible arrangements.
Roses, arranged by hand on Madison Avenue
Roses are the flower people reach for when they want to say something clearly: I love you, happy anniversary, thank you, I'm thinking of you. Every rose design in this collection is made by hand in our shop at Madison Avenue and 96th Street, where Jerome Florists has been since May 1929, and our own drivers bring it to the door.
Some designs let the roses stand on their own. Red Explorer and Scarlet Rose are deep, classic reds, Dash of Pink is soft and romantic, Mondial is all cream-white, and High Magic pairs warm orange-red roses with hypericum berries. Others mix roses with hydrangeas, ranunculus, tulips and orchids for a fuller, garden feel. For a truly grand gesture, there's the Mother of All Bouquets, a lavish all-rose bouquet, and Complete Love, our most dramatic red rose presentation, made for proposals and milestone anniversaries.
Our roses come in fresh five days a week with the rest of our flowers, from the United States, Holland, Italy and South America. Because they're a natural product, the shade can vary a little from one delivery to the next, a red a touch deeper or a pink a shade softer. If a variety isn't at its best that week, we use one of equal or greater value in the same color.
With fresh water and a cool spot, roses usually last five to ten days, depending on the variety. Our rose care guide explains how to get the most from them.
We deliver seven days a week: $15 anywhere we deliver in Manhattan and $25 to Brooklyn and Queens, or you can pick up at the shop for free. Order by 3 PM for same-day delivery in Manhattan. Every order includes a printed card message at no charge, and we'll write it by hand if you ask (a handwritten message over 150 characters is $15).
Questions we hear a lot
Can I choose the size or the number of roses?
Most designs come in several sizes, shown on each product page. If you have a certain number of roses or a budget in mind, call the shop at 212-289-1677 and we'll tell you what we can make.
How long will my roses last?
Usually five to ten days, depending on the variety. Top up the water every day, change it every couple of days, and keep them out of direct sun and away from fruit. Our rose care guide has the details.
Can you deliver roses today?
In Manhattan, yes: order by 3 PM for same-day delivery. After that, call us and we'll tell you honestly what's still possible that day.
Can I add a card message?
Yes. Every order includes a printed card message at no charge. If you'd like it handwritten, just ask; a handwritten message over 150 characters is $15.
When should I order roses for Valentine's Day?
As early as you can. Roses are in the highest demand that week, and ordering a few days ahead gives you the widest choice of colors and sizes. You'll find our most romantic designs in the Love and Romance collection.
